Tuition on all standard courses is free for Home (i.e. United Kingdom and European Union) students under 19 years of age.
Tuition is also free for Home students aged 19 years or over whose weekly class hours on standard courses at Coleg Ceredigion are over 15 hours or more or who are studying two or more AS or A Level subjects.
Please note the following however:
- Overseas students from outside the European Union are required to pay course fees.
- Students on standard courses whose weekly course hours at Coleg Ceredigion are less than 15 are normally required to pay tuition and any examination fees. To be eligible for a concession, you must be responsible for paying the fees yourself and you must provide evidence of receipt of one of the following benefits: Job Seekers Allowance; Income Support; Disability/Incapacity Benefit; Pension Credits.
- Students who are registered as unemployed/in receipt of Income Support or Incapacity Benefit must notify their local benefit office before the commence a course.
- Students whose employer or training provider will be paying their fees must complete a payment confirmation form, signed by the employer/training provider and send to the college prior to enrolment.
Students should be aware that there is a £30 enrolment fee payable by all students on signing their Student Contract. In addition, some courses may require students to make a contribution towards the purchase of materials and equipment.
