BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship

Entry Requirements : Minimum 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent, or a BTEC Level 2 Diploma at Merit. Students without these qualifications may be accepted subject to successful interview.
What will I be studying?
The qualification will give you the opportunity to prepare for enterprise by developing entrepreneurial skills and a business plan. The course is designed for students who wish to plan a business or social enterprise and develop their skills in enterprise and entrepreneurship. Units may include: Business Planning and Pitching; Leadership and Teamwork; Market Research and Analysis; Financial Literacy and Awareness; E-Marketing and Website Design.
This course is usually combined with the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.
The qualification is equivalent to 1 A Level.
What can I do when I have successfully completed the programme?
The course will prepare learners not only for self employment or employment, but will enable learners to develop higher transferrable skills which are appropriate for Higher Education.
