What will I be studying?

The National Certificate is equivalent to 4 GCSEs grade A*-C and is graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction level. Units may include: ICT Skills for Business; Web Page Creation; Digital Imaging; Design and Produce Interactive Multimedia Products; Desktop Publishing; Spreadsheets – Design and Produce; Databases – Design and Produce; Technological Innovation and e-commerce; ICT Systems and user needs; Career Planning for ICT; Creating Animation for www; Creating Video.

You will also study towards a Text Processing Level 2 Certificate and Essential Skills in ICT and Communications or Application of Number as part of your qualification framework.

What can I do when I have successfully completed the programme?

Successful completion of this course provides an excellent introduction to current technology and its ICT/Business/Creative sector applications and will be of particular benefit to those seeking employment or progression onto the Level 3 National Extended Diploma in ICT at either the Aberystwyth or Cardigan campus.
