A Coleg Ceredigion Hospitality and Catering student has won first place in an all-Wales competition in advanced restaurant skills and will now advance to the Welsh final.
Niamh Spolton took part in the first heat of a Skills Competition Wales regional semi-final at Bridgend College where she took the top spot.
After competing in the first heat, it was an anxious wait for both Niamh and her tutors for the results of the second heat, where Niamh would find out if she’d done enough to advance to the Welsh final.
Course Lecturer Huw Morgan said: “We are all so proud of Niamh’s success in Skills Competition Wales.
“This result is a tribute to the hard work of our staff and students to ensure continued success in this competition.
