Skills For Industry 2

The Skills for Industry 2 project is supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government and is designed to assist employers and enterprises in adapting to economic change by increasing the skills levels and qualifications of their employees. It follows on from the success of the previous project launched in 2012. SFI2 will continue to support eligible participants until February 2019

The project will allow Coleg Ceredigion to engage with eligible Participants and enterprises to access accredited Level 2-5 qualifications at a subsidised cost of up to 70% across a variety of sectors including:

  • Care – Health & Social Care and Childcare (up to Level 5);
  • Financial & Professional Services – AAT Accounting (up to Level 4)
  • Food – Professional Cookery and Professional Food & Beverage Service (up to Level 3)
  • Tourism – Hospitality Supervision (Level 3)
  • Construction – Site Carpentry; Bricklaying; Trowel Occupations; Wood Occupations (up to Level 3)

The level of funding available is dependent on the size of the company.
