Update - 25 April 2022:

Whilst the wearing of face coverings is not mandatory, it is recommended that they are worn by learners (unless medically exempt) when travelling on college contracted buses and taxis.

No one will be refused travel if a face covering is not worn.

Should a learner require authorised exemption not to wear a face covering (due to medical conditions), then the learner can apply to the named College contacts in Student Services.

Important Update - As from Monday, 14 September 2020:

College Contract Buses – learners can continue to use until bus passes are issued.

Public Service Buses – Learners may continue to use the Temporary Bus Pass Letter they received during induction week until they receive their bus pass.  If they haven't received the Temporary Bus Pass Letter, please ask Campus Office.  Bus fare may be reclaimed at Campus Office on production of a valid ticket and subject to validation checks. We will contact relevant learners at their college email account with more details.

We are in exceptional circumstances and ask everyone to be patient. Measures are implemented to minimise the risk of transmission of the COVID19 virus for all travelling in college buses and taxis. The safety of everyone is paramount at this time.

Free bus passes are only available if you are aged between 16 and 18 and live in Ceredigion.

If you are:

  • under 16
  • 19 and older
  • live outside Ceredigion
  • studying a course that is available at another college closer to your home

you will be required to pay a contribution of £100 towards the cost of your bus pass.

You will apply for your bus pass with the Student Liaison Administrator during your interview.
