We believe that it is important for every company to link with and offer support to their local community.
Communities support businesses; sponsorship is a great way of saying thank you by helping others have the access to great learning resources; ultimately you will be supporting the economic development of the region at the grassroots.
Linking your organisation to our colleges may also help to raise awareness of your organisation’s work.
You can choose to sponsor anything from a small contribution to the student hardship fund to a larger sponsorship arrangement, for example sponsorship of the Graduation ceremonies or sponsoring an area within the college like our Forge theatre, Sports Gym, Hair Salons and Restaurant
Sponsorship can be in the form of a financial contribution, provision of equipment and materials or the provision of specialist speakers to enhance the student learning experiences.
Here are a few of the possible sponsorship opportunities:
Events
Graduation Ceremony – an annual event in July which has more than around 2000 participants
Celebration of Student & Staff Success – annual events to recognise and celebrate both learner and staff achievements within our curriculum and programme areas.
Equipment or Resources
Our College is always striving to ensure our students are working with sector leading resources and equipment.
Sponsorship or donations can help support us to provide additional resources which would otherwise be out of our limited budgets; access to sector leading technology and equipment resources can significantly enhance the student’s learning experience and open up a wider variety of work opportunities at their end of their course.
College Programmes
Some sponsors choose to sponsor specific programmes at the College which are linked directly to their business. There are a very wide range of programmes which means for most sectors of industry there will be an appropriate opportunity.
Student Hardship Fund
Some sponsors wish to contribute to the student hardship fund which allows the College to support students through difficult times in order to maintain them on their courses whilst they have difficult personal circumstances to deal with.
