Cost

There is no cost for these workshops all material and equipment etc will be provided by the team

Transport

Transport from Pupils school to Coleg Ceredigion in Llanbadarn Fawr will be arranged as well as to key locations after the workshops - details will be finalised when the location and number of participants have been finalised.

Time

As this is an after school event we are looking at 4:30 - 6:30pm again scheduling may change this but will be an earlier start with no later than 6.30pm finish.

Participants

There will be approximately 10 per Subject area and will be drawn from various schools in the area.

When?

15th January to 4th March 2020.

Coleg Ceredigion Campus, Llanbadarn Fawr

How many?

workshops - 7 workshops and a final presentation event.

Who is running it?

Coleg Ceredigion were appointed by Cyngor Sir Ceredigion through the ‘Cynnal y Cardi’ LEADER project, which has received funding through the Wales Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 (RDP), which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The project aims to stimulate innovations that increase the value and variety of sustainable economic opportunity for the people of Ceredigion.

Is it a qualification?

This does not provide an accredited qualification it does however provide a number of benefits and experiences will most certainly help in the more formal academic routes for qualifications whilst providing life skills that can be used in all settings.

Any minimum qualifications or requirements?

There are no defined qualification requirements other than a commitment to attend the 8 workshops and be available to attend the June entrepreneur event. Applications will require a statement on why they would like to attend and is subject to numbers.

Do you provide any extra support to learners?

This is an equal opportunities workshop and all applications will be reviewed and selection will be based on a number of criteria and participants will be provided with all the appropriate support and assistance as is necessary to ensure they get the maximum from the event.
