Practical based workshops

Through Practical based workshops, the Academi’r Dyfodol project aims to ignite a passion for learning and progression in a creative and engaging way that provides opportunities for young people to experience new skills and help them see other learning and development paths, especially for those who do not have a clear career path in mind.

The four priority sector areas are:-

  • Bwyd/Food
  • Celfyddydau Perfformio/Performing Arts
  • Fideo a ffotograffiaeth/Video and photography
  • Celf/Art

As part of the Cynnal Y Cardi commitment to hold an Entrepreneurship conference this is a great opportunity for participants to showcase the outcomes of the pilot workshops as well as other initiatives.

Workshop Delivery

The Workshops will be practical based focusing on participants identifying, creating, developing and delivering a project at the end of the 8 weeks. The workshops are designed to support participants in learning and using new skills through developing an end product that will be presented to a panel of judges to showcase their output and how the project has benefited themselves and the community as a whole.

Project creators will provide; guidance, support, coaching and mentoring and will be supported by a number of Subject matter and skills tutors providing short lessons on current tools and techniques and skills needed in today's ever changing World. Business leaders and entrepreneurs who are experts in their field will share their challenges and successes to reinforce the learning element.
