This qualification is designed to help learners over the age of 19 to practise as leaders and managers in the sector. It is particularly relevant to those managing Flying Start provision, or for those delivering the curriculum for 3-7 year olds in Foundation Phase settings in Wales.

Learners must successfully complete:
Learners must achieve a minimum of 120 credits in total.
You will be required to undertake a successful interview and be formally assessed using the WEST toolkit.
You will also require a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
You will need to provide your own stationery. Sufficient time must be permitted by the workplace to allow regular meetings between Assessor, learner and Manager.
