Top gear for Arthur

Arthur Jones is a rally fanatic and recently competed in his first of many road rally races, before the Covid19 halted the racing calendar.

Arthur currently studies automotive level three at Coleg Ceredigion’s Cardigan campus, having previously completed the level two course the year before.

Before arriving at the Cardigan campus, Arthur studied business at the Aberystwyth campus.

Passionate about rallying, Arthur hopes to start his own business one day, building rally car engines.

With that vision in mind, studying both business and motor vehicle was obvious for him in order to make his dream a reality.

Arthur states: “I’ve always had a passion for working with cars, as my dad’s a mechanic and he’s always taught me the basics.

“It was therefore an easy decision to make when deciding to study auto vehicle at Coleg Ceredigion.

“Before that I studied business at the Aberystwyth campus and I really enjoyed the course and made me ever more determine to start my own business one day.”

After finishing at Coleg Ceredigion, Arthur hopes to gain an apprenticeship in order further enhance his mechanical skills, while also thinking about how to bring his dream business to life.
