This learning programme will help you to achieve a recognised vocational related qualification in light vehicle motor vehicle maintenance and repair. Delivery of the programme is undertaken in a purpose built facility, which has workshops equipped with the latest equipment and tools used widely within the motor vehicle maintenance and repair sector. 

During the programme you will learn to maintain and repair different types of vehicles, such as cars and vans, fit and replace parts and tyres and work on hybrid vehicles safely. 

The programme will provide you with an enjoyable, stimulating and challenging, learning experience with an emphasis placed on developing practical skills that are required by a modern vehicle mechanic. The programme also focuses on improving learners’ confidence, employability and entrepreneurship prospects. 

You will be allocated a personal tutor who will support you with your progress and provide pastoral care for you for the duration of the programme.
