In this ever changing environment Business Management has never been so important and critical to success and we aim to support people in developing their business skills, whether for seeking employment, starting their own business or higher education.

The course prepares students for the wider opportunities a business qualification can provide through a series of learner led and tutor facilitated activities including engagement with local businesses, teamwork, leadership tasks, and event management with potential opportunities for participation in the Erasmus scheme for a placement abroad and also work placement opportunities in the local business environment.

Visiting speakers and entrepreneurs coming to the college provide real world examples of business challenges and an opportunity to learn more about business from experienced business leaders. With a strong focus on Wales and its place in the World there are ample opportunities to both take part in and develop Welsh language and cultural activities and business opportunities.

Finance

The Public Services course will provide a comprehensive and challenging programme of study and will help you take your first steps towards a career supporting the public.

You will learn the essential skills for a wide range of job roles across the public services sector, from the armed services and police force to roles at local authorities and central government.

Coleg Ceredigion will be working closely with the emergency services to inspire and enthuse learners to consider a career in the sector.
